The 2016 Windows to the West Art Show and Sale convenes more than 50 of the country's top contemporary Western heritage artists in one of the most beautiful mountain settings in America at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.  The three-day sale and exhibition in Estes Park, Colorado, June 3-5, showcases more than 200 new pieces of art, with rich opportunities to meet the artists and discuss their unique depictions of Western landscapes, wildlife and traditional Western American life.  Windows to the West is a charitable benefit event sponsored by the Estes Park Western Heritage Foundation.

Garnet Buster

Garnet Buster

Trace with your finger the ancient design on a beautiful Indian pot, the notches on the handle of the tomahawk, or drag your thumbnail down the rows of kernels of brightly colored corn.  Peer into the mystic mountain scenes and feel as though you are there and walk into the nostalgia of old barns and feel the magic of days gone by.  You feel you can do this with Garnet Buster's exquisite paintings.  There is something mystical in his work that brings to mind vanishing civilizations and lost cultures.

Garnet's paintings hang in private collections and museums such as:

  • O. S. Ranch Museum, Post, Texas
  • Former President George W. Bush
  • Tony Lama Boot Company, El Paso, Texas
  • Carol Burnett, Actress
  • Nelson Wolfe, Former Mayor, San Antonio, Texas
  • Sam Butcher, Creator of Precious Moments Figures
  • Diamond M Museum, Snyder, Texas
  • Coors Brewing Company, El Paso, Texas
