The 2016 Windows to the West Art Show and Sale convenes more than 50 of the country's top contemporary Western heritage artists in one of the most beautiful mountain settings in America at the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.  The three-day sale and exhibition in Estes Park, Colorado, June 3-5, showcases more than 200 new pieces of art, with rich opportunities to meet the artists and discuss their unique depictions of Western landscapes, wildlife and traditional Western American life.  Windows to the West is a charitable benefit event sponsored by the Estes Park Western Heritage Foundation.

Leslie Kirchner

Leslie enjoys painting both wildlife and western subjects, striving to capture the individual personality of the animals she portrays, and create an emotional response to her work. Committed to depicting the subjects she paints, she thoroughly researches those subjects as well as their habitats, vegetation and anatomy. 

Leslie paints en plein air to help capture the natural lighting, color and mood of the places she visits.Leslie has worked with animals such as birds of prey, cougars, wolves, bobcats, and more, to help gain hands on knowledge of her subjects. 

Leslie is a member of Oil Painters of America, Signature member of Women Artists of the West, and American Women Artists. Leslie participates in many shows including Natureworks, the Phippen Museum Western Art Show (winner of numerous awards),  and Women Artists of the West Shows (award winner).
